The Arcadia-based Vons supermarket chain agreed to a court order requiring the grocer to advertise and promote table grapes for the next three seasons. The order was part of a settlement with the California Table Grape Commission, which sued the company for alleged antitrust violations. The commission sued after Vons stopped advertising table grapes in an effort to end a 10-month boycott and picketing campaign by the United Farm Workers.
