No More ‘F’s

How clever. The San Diego school board solves the failure rate overnight by eliminating the “F” grade and promoting all (“A Euphemism by Any Other Name is Still an ‘F’ Grade,” June 7).

May I suggest that they likewise solve the dropout problem by handing out high school diplomas in the eighth grade.
