Frank J. Wyka; Dinner Theater Producer
Frank J. Wyka, 64, co-founder of the Three Arts Studio in Hollywood and longtime producer at Anaheim’s Grand Dinner Theatre. A graduate of Indiana’s DePauw University, Wyka produced and directed plays and musicals at Three Arts for more than 20 years. He ran the Grand Hotel’s 399-seat professional dinner theater from 1978 until last fall, when he said disagreements with new hotel managers caused his “mutual termination.” During his tenure in Anaheim, Wyka coaxed big-name stars such as Mickey Rooney, Dorothy Lamour and Cesar Romero to perform for his diners. On June 13 in Hollywood of undisclosed causes.
