SIMI VALLEY : Police Seek 2 Men in Home Robbery
Police are searching for two men suspected of robbing a Simi Valley home of money, jewelry and other items, authorities said Wednesday.
Simi Valley Police Lt. Neil Rein said William Simmons, 35, opened the front door of his home on Oakdale Circle to two men who identified themselves as police officers about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday.
“The two male adults displayed badges and were armed with handguns,” Rein said.
After pushing their way inside, the men forced Simmons; Elizabeth Mooney, 28, of Simi Valley and Dennis Regan, 34, of Woodland Hills to the ground. The victims were bound with tape and forced to remain on the floor as the two men stole an unknown amount of cash, jewelry and other small items, Rein said.
No shots were fired, Rein said.
