Amnesty Report
We wish to convey our utmost appreciation for the excellent treatment accorded the issuance of Amnesty International’s 1991 report. Your editorial “The Practice of Selective Indignation” (July 14) accurately reflected the tone of our report and the controlled outrage felt by the worldwide community of human rights activists over the continuation of abuses.
It is particularly gratifying to those of us in the Western Region that The Times has established human rights concerns as a high priority for publication.
