Boston’s Flynn Seeks Third Term as Mayor

BOSTON — Mayor Raymond L. Flynn, who has gained national prominence as a spokesman on urban problems, announced Saturday he will run for a third term.
“The best social program that I have ever seen is a job,” the Democratic mayor told about 300 people attending a festival in a working-class neighborhood.
