Former EEOC Lawyer Sentenced to 37 Months

WASHINGTON — A former attorney for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and his brother were sentenced Monday after being convicted of stealing from a $1-million fund that was intended to compensate victims of hiring discrimination.
Former EEOC lawyer John W. Milton was sentenced to 37 months in prison and three years of supervised probation and was ordered to repay $72,063.
James Milton received 33 months in prison and two years of supervised probation and was ordered to pay $18,000 in restitution.
