Defending George Strait
The Cromelin comment that stops me is his referral to Strait as “wooden” and the inference that he dare not deviate from his routine or he’d be lost.
What is Cromelin looking for, a singer who forgets words, switches verses, starts a song and not finishes or wanders around the stage?
Those of us who like a clean performance enjoy Strait’s belief in a traditional, straightforward presentation of country music.
