VENTURA : Pair Arrested on Suspicion of Drugs
A Ventura man and woman are free on their own recognizance after being arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana and hallucinogenic mushrooms, authorities said.
Susan Wagner, 45, and James Ducusin, 43, were booked and released at Ventura County Jail Thursday.
Ventura County sheriff’s deputies seized about three pounds of marijuana packaged for sale and about a quarter-pound of psilocybin mushrooms, said Sheriff’s Sgt. Arnie Aviles.
The drugs were discovered at about 9 p.m. Wednesday at a residence in the 6700 block of Crowley Avenue, Aviles said.
Wagner was arrested and booked on suspicion of possessing marijuana for sale and suspicion of possessing dangerous drugs for sale. Ducusin was booked on suspicion of possessing dangerous drugs, Aviles said.
Both are scheduled to appear in court Sept. 6.
