GARDEN GROVE : Back-to-School Nights Begin Today
Parents will be issued daily class schedules during Back-to-School Night activities beginning today at intermediate and high schools throughout the Garden Grove Unified School District.
The annual event opens local school doors to the community, provides an opportunity for parents to become acquainted with teachers in classroom environments and helps to establish relationships with the schools, district officials said.
At the intermediate school level, the first back-to-school night will be at 7 today at Bell Intermediate School.
On Sept. 19, Fitz and McGarvin intermediate schools will hold the event at 7 p.m. Jordan Intermediate School has also planned the event for that evening beginning at 6:30.
Doig and Irvine intermediate schools will hold their events at 7 p.m. Sept. 26, followed by Alamitos Intermediate School at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 3 and Ralston Intermediate School at 7 p.m. on the same date.
District high schools will begin their events at 7 p.m. Sept. 24 at both Los Amigos High School and Pacifica High.
