St. Francis 30, St. Bernard 21--Tailback J. D. Walters led the Golden Knights to a come-from-behind win at St. Francis. Walters carried 27 times for 104 yards and touchdowns on runs of one and two yards.

Quarterback Rudy Martinez completed nine of 24 passes for 129 yards and one touchdown for St. Francis (2-0), and ran for another. Martinez’s two-yard quarterback sneak in the third quarter gave the Golden Knights a 24-21 lead. St. Francis trailed, 21-7, midway through the second quarter.
