Glendora : Developer Gets Extensions
The City Council has approved time extensions for Eagle Land Co. to complete requirements necessary to begin work on two subdivisions near the north end of Morgan Ranch Road.
The council Tuesday granted the 25-lot Gard Ranch Phase One subdivision a 26-month extension and the 16-lot Gard Ranch Phase Two subdivision a 14-month extension. The extensions begin in December, 1992.
Eagle said it needed the extensions because it cannot get access to its property until another developer, who also plans to build in the area, completes the permit process to build a road that will connect Eagle’s landlocked property to Morgan Ranch Road.
Councilmen David Bodley and Marshall Mouw voted against the extension on the 25-lot subdivision but approved the extension on the 16-lot subdivision. They said the larger project does not meet the city’s hillside development regulations.
