Monterey Park : Essay Contest on Harmony
The Bruggemeyer Memorial Library is sponsoring the Harmony Month Essay Contest, open to applicants 8 or older, who live, work or attend a participating school in Monterey Park.
This year’s theme will be “The person who taught me the most about Cultural Harmony is/was . . .” There will be four different age categories, and three winners will be chosen in each category.
Contest rules are on the application, available at participating schools or the Bruggemeyer Library, 318 S. Ramona Ave. Deadline for entry is 6 p.m. Friday.
