Reseda 45, Cleveland 14--Tailback Will Skett had 174 yards in total offense, threw for one touchdown and ran for another to lead the host Regents.
Skett gained 124 yards in nine carries and threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Larry Trammel on a halfback option in the first period to give Reseda a 6-0 lead.
Trailing, 12-0, early in the second quarter, Cleveland (2-4-1, 1-3-1) narrowed its deficit to 12-8 when Diondre Bell returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown. Coron Lewis (70 yards in 17 carries) scored on a two-point conversion run.
Reseda (4-3, 3-2) scored with 57 seconds left in the half when offensive lineman Mike Rutter recovered a teammate’s fumble in the end zone to give the Regents an 18-8 lead at intermission.
