Ozzy, Tone and Barry: Three Slices of the Pop Life
I am writing in response to your Pop Eye item on Ozzy Osbourne (“Just Saying No to Drugs Just Isn’t Ozzy’s Solution,” Oct. 20).
Although Osbourne does not condemn the use of drugs or alcohol in his video “Don’t Blame Me,” he does not encourage it either. Too often in America we rely on what the rich and famous have to say on a subject rather than make these decisions on our own.
Concerning his statement that “sobriety sucks!” I am sure that anyone who has gone through drug or alcohol detoxification would agree.
Osbourne is a wonderful man who has been victimized by the press for years. It’s time to take the title of his video literally.
