Feiffer Fans and Foes
As is frequently the case, Feiffer is right on the mark again with his “Bushie--My Election Strategy for ‘92” (Oct. 20).
Does anyone who has seriously followed Politics According to George Bush dismiss the possibility that the CIA already has its directives to help escalate a local disorder somewhere in the world that, by next fall, will require U.S. military intervention in order to protect “our way of life”?
One can only hope that the press will monitor that possibility closely, since there is no longer any effective opposition party.
