Bush on GOP Senators
Our President clearly does not “get it.” When asked at a press conference (Oct. 25) if he had any objections as to how the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee handled the Anita Hill-Clarence Thomas matter, there was a resounding “no.”
He didn’t notice their thuggish behavior! He didn’t object at all to their treatment of Anita Hill.
As a conservative Republican I object. And I hope the women voters of this nation let their President know that they object come November, 1992.
