The Hamilton County coroner has ruled that Cincinnati football player Andre Sherrod’s death from a gunshot wound to the chest was a suicide. Sherrod, 23, shot himself in a dormitory room Sunday.
The outside linebacker from New York had played Saturday, when Cincinnati lost, 30-19, to East Carolina in the Bearcats’ final game of the season.
