Edison senior Shelley Taylor, one of the top female distance runners in the country for the last four years, made recruiting visits to Colorado and Providence this month, and plans a trip to Arkansas in January.

Taylor, who grew up in Illinois, said she’s leaning toward an out-of-state school. She’s also being recruited by California, Stanford, Notre Dame, Harvard, Washington State, Arizona and Kansas State.
