Youth, 15, Killed When Car Overturns
A 15-year-old boy was killed early Saturday morning when the car in which he was riding overturned in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles police reported.
The accident occurred about 3:30 a.m. when the vehicle made a right turn from Valley Circle Boulevard onto Bell Canyon Avenue, veering off the road and into a power pole, said Officer Ed Pedneau.
The car, which apparently was traveling at a high rate of speed, flipped over, killing the youth in the right front seat, Pedneau said.
The driver and two other youths, also 15, were not seriously injured.
