PREP NOTES : Miller Replaces Baldwin as Costa Mesa Football Coach
Myron Miller has been named football coach at Costa Mesa High School, Athletic Director Dean Cooper said Thursday.
Miller replaced Tom Baldwin, who was fired in November after a 3-7 season.
Miller, 48, became Costa Mesa’s wrestling coach three weeks ago, before landing the football job Wednesday night. He continues to teach physical education at Riverside Ramona, where he coached the football team to the Southern Section Division IV title in 1989.
Cooper said Miller was chosen from a field of 11 candidates.
