Irvine : Christmas Wishes

Today, children all over the world will eagerly scamper to the family Christmas tree, hoping that Santa Claus brought them the gifts they asked for in millions of letters to the North Pole. Many children, however, asked Santa for much more than just toys or video games. Take these letters from third-graders in Carolyn Brubaker’s class at Stone Creek Elementary School in Irvine. While these three letters are just a small sampling of their thoughts, they well represent the expressions of peace, joy, hope and caring that all of the children wrote in their notes.
