Family Fight Ends in Death
A Culver City man was fatally stabbed during a heated argument with his wife Monday night when the woman’s son stepped in to protect her, police said.
David Carrillo Jr., 42, was pronounced dead at Washington Medical Center about one hour after the 8 p.m. incident, officer Kathy Foss said. The family lives in the 12200 block of Washington Boulevard.
According to reports, Carrillo was stabbed while struggling with his 17-year-old stepson, Foss said. The stepson, whose name was not released because of his age, was arrested on suspicion of murder and released to the custody of relatives.
