Joe D. Bain; Insurance Executive, Music Center Founder

Joe D. Bain, 85, the retired chairman of Pennsylvania Life Co. of Los Angeles and an original founder of the Music Center. Bain spent his entire career in insurance and related fields and became president of Pennsylvania Life in 1963 and chairman in 1966. He remained on the executive committee after stepping down as chairman in 1973 and retired in 1983. In Los Angeles on Monday of pneumonia.
