REACHING OUT: Little Saigon has hosted many dignitaries, but next month will be a first: a visit from Mickey Mouse. The famous rodent and other Disney characters will take part in Feb. 7 ceremonies for the Tet festival to celebrate the beginning of the Year of the Monkey. Disneyland spokesman John McClintock notes: “It’s a growing population, and we haven’t done a lot to outreach them. This gives us a chance to tell them they’re welcome to visit us any time.”
