The play is based on a book by Derek Humphry, executive director of the National Hemlock Society, and camera crews from “Prime Time Live” and “Entertainment Tonight” showed up to record his reactions. They didn’t get much. Humphry remained stone-faced throughout the play and beat a hasty retreat afterward.
