TransTechnology Earns $496,000 in 3rd Quarter
TransTechnology Corp., a diversified manufacturer of industrial and aerospace products, said it earned $496,000 in the fiscal third quarter, contrasted with a $536,000 loss a year earlier. Revenues grew 3% to $43.4 million from $42 million last year.
The third-quarter profit included a $644,000 loss from discontinued operations, the company said.
For the nine months that ended Dec. 29, TransTechnology lost $5.9 million, including $5.77 million from discontinued operations--primarily the company’s Computer Graphics division. That contrasts with a $987,000 loss for the same period a year earlier.
Nine-month revenues dropped 5% to $120.9 million from $126.8 million last year.
