ANAHEIM — Eighteen alleged gang members have been arrested during a two-month undercover investigation of a house where more than 40 gang members or associates stayed, police announced Thursday.
In early February, police began watching a home in the 900 block of North Keystone Street. Undercover officers followed people as they left the house and arrested them as they committed crimes, Police Capt. Randall W. Gaston said.
The suspects were held on suspicion of auto theft, burglary, robbery, theft, parole violation and unlawful use of a license.
Three stolen vehicles and three guns were recovered during the arrests, police said.
Arrested were: Tam Van Nguyen, 20; Vi Chanh Phan, 20; Scott Han Huynh, 19; Tao Cong Dinh, 18; Tuan Kiem Tran, 19; Sax Sundara, 22, and Phuong Ngoc Tran, 18.
Eleven other people, juveniles aged 16 and 17, were arrested. Their names were withheld because of their age.
