After a rain delay of nearly four hours, Harry Gant took the lead on lap No. 117 and went on to win the Bud 250 Busch Grand National race at Bristol, Tenn. Gant, who started 18th, beat Davey Allison by 3.1 seconds on the .533-mile Bristol International Raceway track. Bobby Dotter was third. . . . Bill Elliott will be trying for a record-tying fifth consecutive NASCAR victory today at Bristol from the 11th position. Alan Kulwicki is on the pole.
