SUNLAND : Pair Arrested in Fatal Shooting
Two men have been arrested in the fatal shooting of a Los Feliz man at a party in Sunland, police said Monday.
Anthony Penniman, 20, was shot during an argument Friday night at the party, Lt. Thomas Maeweather said.
He said Billy Landry, 21, of Sunland was arrested Saturday morning on suspicion of murder and Edward Rogers, 20, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
Maeweather said police believe that Landry and Rogers are gang members. But he said they don’t believe that Penniman was involved with gangs.
Landry and Rogers were arrested based on information provided by witnesses to the shooting at a house in the 10600 block of Helendale Avenue.
