SIMI VALLEY : 6 Residents Sought for Elections Panel
Applications are available for Simi Valley residents interested in serving on a commission that advises the City Council on electoral matters.
The city is seeking three regular and three alternate members to fill vacancies on the Citizens Election Advisory Commission, City Manager M. L. Koester said. The commission is a five-member advisory board responsible for assisting city staff and candidates with state election code requirements governing municipal offices.
Applications are available in the city clerk’s office, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road. Completed applications are due by May 29.
