Fullerton 3, Santa Maria Righetti 2--Jerry Martinez drove in Keith Ginter with two outs in the bottom of the seventh, capping the Indians’ two-run rally.
Daniel Chacon had tied the score with a one-out homer.
Ginter hit a first-inning homer and was also the winning pitcher. Fullerton (18-7) faces Canyon Tuesday.
Capistrano Valley 8, Cerritos 4--Brian Benner hit a three-run homer in the fourth inning and Scott Shone had a two-run single during a five-run first inning for the host Cougars (21-5), who will play at West Covina South Hills Tuesday.
Sunny Hills 3, Torrance 2--Brent Howse had an inside-the-the-park homer in the top of the seventh to break a 2-2 tie for the visiting Lancers (15-12).
Junior right-hander Brian Volpp (6-2) pitched a four-hitter, and both runs he allowed were unearned. Erin O’Leary and Eric Smith drove in the other runs for South Hills.
Covina Northview 5, El Toro 0--After allowing a home run and a three-run home run in the first inning, El Toro pitcher Pete Robertson allowed only one hit over the final six innings. El Toro finishes 13-13.
West Covina South Hills 4, Brea-Olinda 3--The host Wildcats (17-8-1) had runners on second in the sixth and seventh innings, but failed to score the tying run. Tray Nelson was two for two with a triple and a two-run, first-inning homer for the Huskies (16-9).
Upland 11, Foothill 4--Upland scored five runs in the second inning and led 9-0 after three. Clint Pearson had three hits including a two-run double in the seventh for visiting Foothill (17-9).
