SMALL FACES: Relatively unknown guitarist Richie Kotzen has been named by Poison as the replacement for departed C.C. DeVille. But singer Bret Michaels took one more shot at DeVille in the announcement of the new member. “I feel more creative energy and commitment from Richie in six months than I did from C.C. in the last three years,” he said. . . .
Rave-oriented radio station MARS-FM will celebrate its first anniversary with a concert June 10 at the Palace, headlined by Chicago techno-industrial group My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult. And look for a remix of the band’s “Sex on Wheels” to be the lead song from the movie “Cool World,” coming out mid-June, and for a new album via Interscope Records in early ’93. . . .
Suzanne Vega’s next album, “99.9 Fahrenheit,” due for an August release, is said to have the folk-rooted artist moving in something of an industrial-influenced pop direction. . . .
