Four elementary schools in the Tustin Unified School District will have new principals for the 1992-93 school year, district officials announced.

Mary Townsend will be the new principal at Arroyo, replacing Gerald Aust, who will become principal of Marjorie Veeh Elementary School. Before coming to Tustin Unified, Townsend was an administrator in the Capistrano Unified School District for six years.

Loma Vista Elementary School’s new principal will be Phil Dunmeyer, who is an assistant principal at Hewes Middle School and has been with the district for 28 years. He will replace Pete Schaefer, who will become principal of Helen Estock Elementary School in the fall.
