Irwindale : Identity of Remains Sought
The coroner’s office was attempting to identify the skeletal remains of a man found in a wilderness area in the Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area.
A skull and upper torso were discovered early Monday morning by a search-and-rescue team that had been called to the park to look for a missing boy, 5-year-old Ricardo Leon, who was subsequently found unharmed.
The skeleton appeared to have been in the park for at least six months, Irwindale police said.
