Six Projects Selected to Get New Roofs
Twenty roofing contractors, 80 to 100 workers, six roofing material wholesalers and material manufacturers have donated materials and labor to this year’s public service project of the Roofing Contractors Assn. of Southern California.
They are La Casa Vieja de Lopez, originally built in 1806 and part of the San Gabriel Mission; the YMCA in Van Nuys; Anaheim interfaith shelter; Queue Up, a transitional housing facility for the homeless in La Puente and two residences in Ontario.
