Greenbriar Road, 1500 block--A cast aluminum bench valued at $1,400 was stolen from a porch between 6:30 and 8 p.m. May 26.
East Colorado Street, 1400 block--Employees of the Arko Foods Store reported that thieves broke the front window of the store and stole about $1,100 cash and about 63 cases of cigarettes valued at $1,008 between May 28 and 29.
Western Avenue, 900 block--A woman reported that she was accosted at knifepoint by a man who forcibly took her to an industrial area under the Western Avenue Bridge where he raped her at 9:10 p.m. May 29.
Graynold Avenue, 1400 block--A VCR, phone and jewelry, total value undetermined, were stolen from a home that was entered through an unlocked window, between 8:40 a.m. and 7 p.m. May 29.
West Chevy Chase Drive, 300 block--Thieves pried open the front door of an apartment between 8:15 a.m. and 4 p.m. May 29 and stole $15 in coins and a VCR and jewelry valued at $1,100.
East Chestnut Street, 700 block--Stereo equipment, recorded music, a watch and camera equipment valued at $3,640 were stolen from an apartment between 7:50 a.m. and 6:20 p.m. May 29.
Lexington Drive and Geneva Street--A woman reported seeing a man expose himself while standing near a school playground where children were playing at 7:05 p.m. May 29.
Irving Avenue, 1200 block--Three guns, a sapphire pendant, a TV, a watch and a man’s ring, valued at $12,000, plus credit cards, other jewelry of unknown value and $5,300 cash were stolen from a home between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. May 29.
Cloud Avenue, 3800 block--Burglars entered an unlocked garage between May 29 and 30 and stole a set of golf clubs valued at $2,600, a paint sprayer valued at $2,500, and other tools and equipment valued at $1,025.

Ocean View Boulevard, 5300 block--Burglars smashed a kitchen window to gain entry to a home and stole two guns, jewelry and coins valued at $5,000 on May 30 and 31.

Glendale Boulevard, 2400 block--Three men armed with a semiautomatic handgun robbed a man of $20 cash as he returned to his car after using an automatic bank teller machine at 10 p.m. May 25.
Brunswick Avenue and Appleton Street--A gunman robbed a woman of her purse and money valued at $630 at 4 p.m. May 29.
Griffith Park Boulevard, 3100 block--Clothing and a stereo valued at $1,500 were stolen from an apartment by burglars who entered the premises at two different times on May 30 and 31.

Eagle Rock Boulevard, 5000 block--Burglars forced the locks of a building under construction and stole tools and supplies valued at $1,865 between May 22 and 26.
Eagle Rock Boulevard and Yosemite Drive--Two men took a woman’s purse valued at $115 after a struggle at 6:30 p.m. May 29.
Colorado Boulevard, 1300 block--Burglars pried the screen off a sliding window and stole a TV and video equipment valued at $1,410 between 10:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. May 30.
Echo Park
Sunset Boulevard, 1200 block--Robbers armed with a handgun confronted a motorist in a parking lot and made off with the victim’s car and a wallet containing about $50 at 8:30 p.m. May 25.
Alpine Street and Centennial Street--Three men brandishing a knife and a gun approached a person on a street at 8:15 p.m. May 25, stole $60 and fled in a car driven by a fourth man.
Lakeshore Avenue, 1400 block--A home was ransacked and burglarized between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. May 26. Money and jewelry valued at $2,670 were stolen.
Echo Park Avenue, 1900 block--A gunman robbed a pedestrian of her purse, which contained $66, at 9:05 p.m. May 28.
White Knoll Drive, 900 block--Witnesses reported that six men took part in an apartment burglary May 28, during which money and cameras valued at $1,350 were stolen.

Zoo Drive, 5000 block--Two people were accosted on the street at 3 a.m. May 30 by two gunmen who took their wallets and money valued at $1,230.

York Boulevard, 6700 block--Household goods valued at $2,200 were stolen from an apartment on May 26 or 27.
Avenue 54 and Figueroa Street--A man approached a woman on a sidewalk and snatched her purse, containing money and technical instruments valued at $155 at 5:15 a.m. May 27.
Figueroa Street, 5800 block--A man armed with a revolver entered a commercial building and robbed an employee of $100 at 7 p.m. May 28.
Irvington Terrace, 5300 block--Video equipment valued at $1,750 was stolen from an apartment between 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. May 29.

Estara Avenue, 3000 block--A money bag containing $627 was stolen from an open safe at the student store of a junior high school on May 26 or 27.
North Figueroa Street, 2600 block--A man threatened a fast-food restaurant employee with a blunt instrument and robbed her of $300 cash at 1:20 a.m. May 31.
Los Feliz
Los Feliz Boulevard, 3900 block--Computer equipment valued at $5,000 was stolen from an apartment between May 22 and 26.
North Vermont Avenue, 2700 block--Thieves entered a building with a key and stole a generator valued at $7,117 on May 24 or 25.
Evans Street, 3800 block--Thieves pried open the door and trunk of a car on May 27 or 28 and stole a stereo and a telephone valued at $5,265.
Los Feliz Boulevard, 4500 block--Burglars entered a home and stole money and a stereo valued at $1,250 between 2:30 and 5:20 p.m May 30.
Griffith Park Drive and Los Feliz Boulevard--A man approached a person on the street from the rear, pointed a knife at the victim and took $200 cash at 7 a.m. May 31.
Los Feliz Boulevard, 3700 block--Video equipment and cash valued at $3,660 were stolen from an apartment between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. May 31.
Silver Lake
Boyce Avenue, 3600 block--Thieves forced open the side window of a car and stole a business machine and a cellular phone valued at $3,505 between 10 and 10:15 p.m. May 25.
Santa Monica Boulevard, 4700 block--Thieves cut the outside alarm and phone wires of an auto sales lot, smashed a hole through the wall, and stole tools and auto parts valued at $5,860 on May 25 or 26.
West Sunset Boulevard, 2600 block--Burglars pried open the front door of a fast-food restaurant and stole appliances and other property valued at $3,100 on May 28 or 29.
Fernwood Avenue, 3000 block--Burglars cut the screen and broke a window of a home on May 28 or 29 and stole a TV and computer equipment valued at $4,200.
Casitas Avenue, 3100 block--A TV and stereo valued at $2,070 were stolen from an apartment at 5:15 p.m. May 30.
Silver Lake Boulevard, 2100 block--A couple parked at a “lover’s lane” area were robbed at gunpoint of money and jewelry valued at $221 by two men at 1:15 a.m. May 30.
Moreno Drive, 2300 block--Thieves figured out a garage door opener’s combination and stole a stereo and telephone valued at $2,200 from a vehicle May 30 or 31.
Silverwood Terrace, 1500 block--A man snatched a woman’s purse containing $180 at 5 p.m. May 30.
