Motorcycle Crash Kills Reseda Man
A Reseda man died early Sunday when he lost control of his motorcycle and slammed into the wall of a street tunnel under Van Nuys Airport, Los Angeles police said.
Tan Ratanatraiphob, 24, was traveling about 90 m.p.h. west on Sherman Way near Valjean Avenue when the rear wheel of his motorcycle began to wobble, Officer John Baby said.
Ratanatraiphob apparently tried to control his motorcycle as he headed into the tunnel at the south end of the airport’s runway, but hit the tunnel wall and was killed shortly after midnight, Baby said.
No one else was injured in the accident.
