IT’S A WONDERFUL FILM
Boy, giants Katharine Hepburn and Billy Wilder better live forever. Otherwise they’ll be dissected and trivialized by the likes of Barbara Leaming and Joseph McBride in the interests of “truth” (“Bette Davis” and “Frank Capra,” May 17).
Personally, I’d rather watch “Dark Victory” or “Lost Horizon” any time than read one more critical study of mixed-up egomaniacs Bette Davis and Frank Capra.
