Is Magic Seeing Stars After All This Time With the NBA’s Best?
I have always respected Magic Johnson for his competitiveness and level head as one of the biggest stars in the world. But his recent revelations, dumping his shoe company two years before the end of his contract (seems being a multimillionaire also makes you a marketing expert) and his interest in returning to the NBA with a team other than the Lakers, have made me lower my regard for him considerably.
I always thought Magic was a man who welcomed a challenge, but his desire to return to the NBA only with a team that has a legitimate chance of winning the championship sounds more like Barry Bonds.
Are we now beginning to see the real Magic Johnson show his face, or has he just been hanging around with Charles Barkley for too long?
