TECHNOLOGY : Advanced Logic Cuts Prices of Notebook Computers 22% to 33%

The personal-computer price war continues to heat up. Advanced Logic Research Inc. in Irvine has cut prices 22% to 33% for its line of 486-based notebook computers to expand its market share.
The company said it will also introduce a color version of the computers, which are small enough to fit inside a briefcase, at a computer show in November.
