Car Dealer Guilty in Murder of Salesman
VISTA, Calif. — William Wayne Nix, the owner of a Pomona car dealership, was found guilty Tuesday of first-degree murder and conspiracy in the gangland-style killing of one of his former salesman.
The jury decided that Nix had orchestrated a murder-for-hire conspiracy in 1988 to kill Salvatore T. Ruscitti, who had filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against Nix’s parents.
Nix, the owner of Will Nix Ford in Pomona, will be sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Assistant U.S. Atty. Larry Burns said other members of the conspiracy are still at large, including the alleged triggerman, Jose (Tonto) Miranda.
