The feuding heirs of Miami Dolphin founder...
From Staff and Wire Reports
The feuding heirs of Miami Dolphin founder Joe Robbie settled their legal dispute over his estate, avoiding a trial and apparently ensuring that the club will remain in Robbie family hands.
All terms of the agreement were confidential, but those involved said it will let the Robbie family keep the team, which was founded in 1966.
Dade County Probate Judge Edmond Newbold said he would approve the settlement, but gave attorneys for two banks with multimillion-dollar claims on the estate until Friday to review it and raise any objections.
