Montrose : Anniversary Celebrations
The Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce and the Montrose community are planning 70th and 80th anniversary celebrations during January and February, 1993.
The community of Montrose was founded in 1913; the chamber in 1923.
The anniversary committee is seeking historical and anecdotal material about the area, including pictures, books and other memorabilia. Interested people can contact Judy Marley at the chamber, (818) 249-7171, or Bob Torres, (818) 957-3396.
