Jazz Note Closes; Cables Canceled
SAN DIEGO — The Jazz Note has been closed, and this weekend’s scheduled performances by jazz pianist George Cables at the Pacific Beach club have been canceled.
Club operator Steve Satkowski said Friday, however, that he hopes to open again in a new location in San Diego County in September. He has tentatively rescheduled Cables’ performance for December.
