A bullet that killed Ondra Guidry, former Nevada Las Vegas wide receiver and Long Beach Jordan High assistant football coach during a fight at a Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity party was fired by a security guard who was hired to keep peace at the affair, according to Las Vegas Metro Police.
Guidry, 25, was shot in the leg early Saturday outside a warehouse party and died at an area hospital of the loss of blood.
Homicide Sgt. Bill Keeton said the guard’s bullet struck Guidry as he returned fire at a car once the fight went outside. Keeton said it is unlikely that charges will be filed against the guard.
