What’s in a Name: Shakespeare Festival/LA is taking the smaller Shakespeare, L.A. group to court, citing “confusion” between the two names. A Superior Court commissioner has scheduled a hearing on an injunction for Sept. 2, but denied a request for a temporary restraining order that would have prevented the opening of the smaller group’s first full production, “The Taming of the Shrew,” on Wednesday at the Richard Basehart Playhouse in Woodland Hills.
