VENTURA : Boy Shot in Fight in Fair Condition
A 15-year-old Ventura boy who was shot during a gang-related fight over the weekend remained hospitalized in fair condition Sunday evening, authorities said.
The boy, who was wounded in Marina Park late Friday night, underwent emergency surgery at Ventura County Medical Center, where he was listed in fair condition Sunday, nursing supervisor Patricia Gates said.
A 17-year-old Ventura boy was also shot in the fight, but he was treated at the hospital and released, Gates said.
Ventura Police desk Officer Graham Jeffrey said Sunday that there have been no arrests in connection with the incident.
