Reagan’s Speech

It was vintage Reagan! The big grin, the warm and humorous style and the unquenchable optimism for the future were great to see once again. Ronald Reagan’s speech to the Republican convention (Aug. 18) was a wake-up call to all of America. Our best days are truly ahead of us. Thank you, President Reagan, for everything you have done for the American people; and thank you for the future that will be bright and shining, just like that city on a hill.
