Camera Platforms Makes Sale to Hollywood Rental

Camera Platforms International Inc. said Hollywood Rental Co. exercised an option to buy movie production equipment leased from Camera Platforms for $534,000.

Hollywood Rental purchased 180 ballasts from Valencia-based Camera Platforms, which it originally leased under a 1989 agreement. The ballasts control the flow of electricity in high-intensity lights commonly used in movie production.
